Here is a list of the initiatives, projects and events FJFF funded in 2024/25


Small Community Grants

  • Am I Enough? – documentary on Sam Morris, a young LGBTIQ First Nations man; promotion and premiere in Warrnambool with Q&A sessions and school partnerships.
  • Port Fairy Messiah 2025 – 2024 event supporting local arts participation.
  • RAV In ResidenceBuilding Blocks networking event “Creative Social”, May 2025.
  • Six Seasons of the Peek Whurrong – Indigenous art installation at James Swan Reserve by a Leadership Great South Coast project team.
  • What the Tide Brings In – short documentary by Colleen Hughson, premiering in Warrnambool and touring as part of the Silver Power Festival.
  • Lian Husi Timor – Backing Tracks and Performance Video Production. 

Good Ideas Incubation

  • FJ Arts Fellowship – Megan Twycross – supporting for emerging leaders from South West Victoria for career development.
  • Warrnibald 2025 – presentation of the annual portrait exhibition and program by Warrnambool Hospice.
  • STUCK by MT Theatre – development and presentation of a new play by an award winning local playwright.
  • Stoked Surf Therapy –  surf therapy program for young people.
  • Warrnambool Multicultural Association – strategic planning and capacity building.
  • Thriving South West – backbone support for this innovative cross-sector partnership.

Social Change Partners

  • A Big Life –Delivery of the Footsteps program in eleven local primary schools, enabling evaluation by La Trobe University.
  • Deakin University – Achieving Potential Scholarships supporting undergraduate students at the Warrnambool campus.
  • F Project – Annual Programs including: Artist in Residency and the Fabric of Life Festival for 2025.
  • Find Your Voice Collective – backbone support for the organisation’s continued growth and impact.

Collective Capacity Building

  • Leadership Great South Coast – second year of the three-year flagship regional leadership program.
